'To teach is to touch a life forever.'

On my journey.....

Back in 1986 I started my journey in health. Back then I wanted to find out what worked to bring people to a state of health where they could maintain their resilience for life, and I haven't deviated one millimetre since

I have assisted and followed many patients on their journey to health, and they have been my best teachers. I have gained a wealth of clinical knowledge of healing and what it takes to achieve this. But the bedrock has been Dr. Max Gerson's work which shaped my training, honed my skills and helped me stay on track.

What I have learned is that it is the patient's capacity to respond to any treatment that determines the outcome, not the treatment itself and if building this capacity lay at the heart of medicine today, then we could be facing a very different future.

Our resilience is the difference between a successful outcome and one that fails; building resilience is the missing link. Nourishing all levels of being are of equal importance, as too is the care and compassion from one's family and friends.

So I am sharing my collection quotes that have given me the clarity that I have needed at times, and I still refer to today.

Science is built up of facts, as a house is built of stones;

but an accumulation of facts is no more a science than a heap of stones is a house.

The majority believes that everything hard to comprehend must be very profound.

This is incorrect.

What is hard to understand is what is immature, unclear and often false.

The highest wisdom is simple and passes through the brain directly into the heart.

Viktor Schauberger 1885 - 1958
